Cheryl Evans leads the Intact Centre team that works across Canada to co-create flood and wildfire-ready risk assessment tools, training programs, and community-partnered resilient retrofit education programs. She has over 20 years’ experience facilitating multi-stakeholder, climate-ready initiatives.
Mike Flannigan
Research Chair for Predictive Services, Emergency Management and Fire Science, Thompson Rivers University; Professor Emeritus, University of Alberta
Dr. Mike Flannigan is a BC Innovation Research Chair in Predictive Services, Emergency Management and Fire Science and Science Director of the Canadian Partnership for Wildland Fire Science. His research interests include fire and weather/climate interactions, lightning-ignited forest fires, and landscape fire modeling.
