Use AI to perform research and develop solutions on your selected roadblock.

Step 4 – Submit proposal

You’ll receive an email after the submission date, to announce the winners. Check out the prize below, they could be yours!

Challenge Roadblocks

Challenge 1: Electric Revolution
  • Ethically and sustainably sourcing raw materials such as Lithium and Cobalt for battery production
  • The lack of physical infrastructure to support adoption
  • Cybersecurity and data protection threats to end-users
Challenge 2: Feeding the Future
  • Reducing food waste as more than 50% of food produced in Canada is not consumed 
  • Advancing urban agriculture as rapid urbanization reduces availability and usability of farmland
  • Cybersecurity and Data Protection threats to farmers’ trade information
Challenge 3: Hacking Health 
  • Cybersecurity and Data Protection threats to patient information 
  • Maintaining high-quality and consistent data on a national level 
  • Administering culturally sensitive care to historically underserved communities
Challenge 4: Carbon Neutrality
  • Optimizing logistics of business systems
  • Transitions to sustainable energy sources 
  • Reporting of carbon emissions data and data protection

Prizes

For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, the total prizes are:

1st Place

  • $500 Visa gift card
  • 90 day GenAI course access
  • 1 year PreprLabs license
  • Lab kits for the entire team

2nd Place

  • $250 Visa gift card
  • Lab kits for entire team

3rd Place

  • $100 Visa gift card
  • Lab kits for all winners
